We met at the Bay Area First Friday White Party on August 4, 2012. It was girls night out with Lachelle and Shauntel. He grabbed me by the hand and asked me to dance. We danced and then he offered to get me a drink. I say get me a drink because anyone that know Wayne know he going to do his best to not pay for anything if he doesn't have to. So he went into the VIP area to "GET" me a drink. I went outside on the rooftop and waited for my drink. While I was waiting a gentlemen came up to me and started a conversation. When Wayne got back, he calmly introduced himself to the gentlemen. I like a confident well dressed man, so I gave him my number. Now the annual white pary is like our anniversary.

It was a weekday and I typically don't go out on weekdays. We decided to meet in Vallejo which was half-way between us both. We met at the Coconut Grove. We had a couple of drinks. We played a game of pool and darts. The conversation was very easy and we laughed a lot. We had a lot of chemistry. It was like we'd known each other for years.

Our official first date was at Yoshi's in San Francisco to see Big Daddy Kane. Everyone who knows me well, know that I love Big Daddy Kane and Prince. I was super excited. The show was amazing and the best part was that I got to meet him after the show. The music and food were good. We didn't skip a beat and it was like we had been together for a long time.

Christmas morning 2017 started late as usual. We all got out of bed around 11am to open presents in our matching pajamas. Something Wayne use to think was corny but he already bought our family pajamas for 2019. I started our Christmas brunch and we started to opened gifts. Before we could start Wayne told PJ and Nya that I was his gift. That he thanked GOD everyday for bringing all of us into his life. He said we are already a family but he wanted to make it official. He got down on one knee in front of the Christmas tree and asked if I'd spend the rest of my life with him and of course I said yes.
