After a long week of working at Missions Conference in Oct. 2022, Jabon asked Addy out on a date to get coffee. Their longstanding friendship turned into a sweet relationship as they worked together, took classes together, and got involved in serving together at their church. They spent many Saturdays getting coffee, reading their Bibles, and going on adventures together - walks, Walmart runs, Thai food, pickleball, frisbee golf, and even kayaking around the lake. On December 2nd, 2023 Jabon got down on one knee on a walk through the Winona Lake Christmas lights and asked Addy, "Will you do me the honor of marrying me?" She said, "YES!" They are so excited to plan a wedding that will honor the Lord, become members of their church, and graduate with their undergrad degrees. They are planning on living in Winona Lake, IN where Jabon will be finishing his M. Div. at the Grace College Seminary.
