On January 10, 2021 at 03:00:31 AM (thank you Bumble for the specifics), after a night of drinking on Zoom with co-workers... Stephanie was scrolling the dating apps and thought Jabez's Bumble profile was cute. Her opening line was: "Hi Jabez! I see you are a teacher, what do you teach?" A pretty boring opening line led to Jabez asking for a # and a virtual first date! The date was easy and amazing enough to have Stephanie look past Jabez saying he doesn't think he would like cruises (gasp)! After a few virtual dates (thanks COVID), a walk, and many couch movie dates, armed with masks on and hand sanitizer on standby, Jabez and Stephanie were finally ready to break into the COVID world and go to Stephanie's favorite restaurant, Greek Islands. After that, Jabez's first successful cruise, and many many Chicago Sky games, the two were each others best friends and the rest is history!
