Jordan and Aaron first met years ago across desks in their fifth grade science class. It's true, this friendship was founded upon belly-laughter and random side conversations that all-too-often ended in reprimand… and it's true, they can still be found to burst out laughing and jabbering on today! It wasn't until mid high school, however, that Jordan and Aaron stepped into knowing each other more deeply. In another science class (nerds!), Jordan and Aaron quickly resumed their friendship and would spend hours talking to one another about everything from new music releases to their personal relationships with Jesus. When the pandemic hit in 2020, it didn’t take long for them to realize they didn’t want to spend the rest of their lives with anyone else. They could not imagine another day without learning something new about the other, not telling their person about the day they’ve had, or asking for immediate advice from anyone else. It was clear from the beginning that they would choose continuously to know and to love each other. Their relationship has been shaped by its own flavor and flare - it would be no surprise to see these two (frequently) busting a move to 60s music, gazing up at the stars in the dead of the night, or cramming for a midterm with coffee in one hand and an energy drink in the other - yet it is in eager and foundational pursuit of knowing and loving Christ that defines it. Now, Aaron and Jordan are looking towards the future and beyond excited for the reality of making it their present, unified in marriage… And we cannot wait to celebrate with YOU in your best dancing shoes on the 16th of August!
