We met on the dating app Hinge in August of 2019 and it was love at first swipe or at least like at first swipe. We bonded over a love of movies and like every great love story, 90s music. We quickly transitioned to texting and falling asleep on the phone after spending hours talking.

HIS STORY-The Moment I fell for Janae' October 12,2019, was the day I knew Janae' would be my wife. I felt love from just being in her presence. In most cases feelings in relationships progress to love over a long period of time. In this case, on this night, our bond was unequivocal, and this has been the staple of our relationship. God's plans are far greater than anything that I can imagine. In this case Janae' is clearly the woman I have prayed for. “There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear”. The love I have for Janae is perfect love. She is truly the woman of my dreams and I can’t wait to say, “I do.” HER STORY- The Moment(s) I Fell for Sep It strange to say this, but I fell in love with Sep twice. When we first matched on a dating app we talked for a few weeks on the phone before agreeing to meet in person. We talked about every topic from our favorite movies and food to our goals for the future. The conversation was so easy and I felt like we had know each other for our whole lives. For our third date, Sep planned a surprise picnic in a local park. He really impressed me because he remembered so many details we had talked about on the phone. He packed my favorite fruit, snacks, and a bottle of wine. He had a bouquet made for me with my favorite flavors, that were out of season and really hard to find. We watched the sun set in the park and I knew he was the one.

HIS STORY Marriage was a topic that Janae' and I had talked about. There was no question of if I was going to propose. The only question was when. The pandemic made things very difficult and arduous. Everything was a challenge. The ring and the venue were obstacles, but with close friends and family we pulled through. Janae’'s mother, best friend Keke, my sisters, my best friends, and my mother all helped make a memorable night during an eerie time. HER STORY Sep and I had talked about spending our lives together for a while, but he truly surprised me. I had no idea the big question was coming especially during a pandemic. We were spending time with our respective families and hadn't made plans to travel to visit each other for Christmas. Little did I know he had contacted our families so they could participate in the proposal. My mom tricked me into thinking we were going out for a family dinner and made me get dressed up. When I arrived at the restaurant and opened the doors Sep was standing in a sea of red roses with a "Marry Me Janae' " sign. I cried the minute I saw him and nodded my head because I could barely get out the word "yes!" . Our families cheered in the background and a photographer captured the special moment. It was the perfect start to our forever.
