We were in Hana, Maui visiting Trevor’s family for Thanksgiving. That morning was nothing out of the ordinary. I was told we were going to Waioka Falls (Venus Pools) which was a short walk from where we were staying. One minute we’re walking thru jungle-like foliage, the next minute all we saw was black lava rock formations and bright blue ocean water. Just as I was laying out a towel for us to sit on to enjoy the views, I hear “Hey Jess” and turn around and see Trevor on one knee holding my ring!!!!! Our celebratory happy screams, hugs & kisses luckily caught the attention of another young couple swimming in the Venus Pool below us. They took some photos to capture the moment.
