We got married! We're excited to celebrate with you in 2021!

We'd known each other through mutual friends at Skidmore College. Neither of us had been in a serious relationship before, so things started slow (and a bit awkward), like many first-love moments. We quickly discovered that what we were best at was making each other laugh. Our relationship stemmed from our shared goofiness and the ability to be completely ourselves together.

Jonny wanted to give "the gift of surprise," and he definitely succeeded. On a seemingly random Wednesday afternoon, Jonny was waiting at the kitchen table with a brown paper bag of cookies from Fiore's Bakery in Jamaica Plain - our favorite! The gray box was hidden under a large molasses cookie, waiting to be discovered. Of course, we'd both eagerly talked about marriage for a couple years at that point, but the timing of it was completely unexpected. "Is this happening?! Now?! On a Wednesday?!" Yes it was! Our pup Sadie barked to congratulate us, after which we started calling our family and friends to tell them about the amazing Wednesday we'd just had.
