The tale of Tommy and Izzy began on New Year’s Eve 2022 in Nashville, Tennessee. At the time, Tommy lived in Hoboken and Izzy lived in Boston with her friend Caroline. Caroline, with the help of her fiancé Mikey (who just so happened to be Tommy's best friend), convinced Tommy to take a last minute trip down to Music City. Caroline did in fact buy Tommy's plane ticket on his phone after he was a few too many espresso martinis deep but alas, the ends justify the means. Tommy first saw Izzy walking out of the Nashville airport on December 30, 2022, and from that moment he knew his life was about to change forever. The two of them got to know each other over the next few days and shared their mutual love of dogs, their families, and the great state of New Hampshire. In case they needed any more convincing from the universe, they learned that both of their childhood house numbers were 63, and thus they decided it was fate. The two of them knew this was a connection like no other, and just 3 months after meeting Izzy, Tommy was moving into his new apartment in Boston. While he told family and friends it was partially career related, they all knew the truth: he had to go see about a girl. Once in Boston, the two were inseparable. Living just a few blocks apart in the North End, they would walk their dogs, Max and Zeus, up and down Salem Street to see each other almost every day. Eventually, they got tired of the 5 minute walk and moved in together on Cooper Street, where they built a beautiful life in their cozy North End apartment. The two spent most of their time walking their dogs, enjoying the abundance of good Italian restaurants, and exploring Boston with their friends. They would also make frequent visits to see Izzy's family in Concord, New Hampshire, and Tommy's family on Long Island. After a few years in the city, they were ready for their next adventure. On July 4, 2025, Tommy proposed to Izzy in one of their favorite places — Greenport, Long Island. Just days later (technically a few days before but who's counting) they bought their first home together in Concord, New Hampshire, where they’ve settled in with their very happy dogs Max and Zeus. They can’t wait to celebrate their wedding day surrounded by all the people who have been part of their journey so far!
