Destined to be Moore!

We met through one of Izzy's high school teammates and Dustyn's client- Gabby Sabater. Gabby asked Izzy to work a lacrosse clinic at Fury Performance. When Izzy got there she and Dustyn talked briefly and soon realized they had mutual friends through college at Kennesaw State University where he played football and she played lacrosse. After this day, they talked some but Izzy "ghosted" Dustyn as she was skeptical of the age difference (4 years). Dusytn then grew a fire of hatred towards Izzy as this never happened to him before. A few months passed and COVID started- this allowed Dustyn to take his boat out on lake Allatoona more often. As Dustyn and Izzy shared friends, one in particular, Brandon Sutton (dating one of Izzy's best friends- Heidi Curtis) called Dustyn one day from Izzy's house. Dustyn answered asking Brandon if he wanted to come out on the lake that day then Izzy grabbed the phone and quickly yelled "I'm coming too!". Dustyn, still infuriated being ghosted, replied "Hellllllll nooo" but Izzy thought he was joking and went out on the boat anyways with their friend's. However, as you all know, Dustyn does not joke around with people he doesn't like, but Izzy did not know this until she was on the boat. The day went on, Izzy got food poisoning from expired pretzels and was the first person ever to get sick on Dustyn's boat. A few days after this boat excursion, Dustyn reached out to Izzy asking if she was feeling any better, and this is how they got to talking again. The thing was though, both Izzy and Dustyn were dating other people at the time, but this quickly changed as Dustyn's anger transformed to love, Izzy's suspicions subsided, they realized they were growing closer and the love between them started to spark... and the rest is history.

Dustyn had been planning this proposal for months. He had one of Izzy's best friends, Katie DeFine, in on it since the beginning, taking her to get her ring finger sized without Izzy having any suspicion back in March 2023. Months passed and Dustyn bought the ring back in June of 2023 and waited 2 months for the perfect moment to pop the question. Finally, as the week was approaching, Izzy has a feeling it was happening as Dustyn kept mentioning they had dinner reservations that weekend. But to throw her off, Dustyn acted angry and annoyed for the rest of the week making Izzy believe it would not happen. He had a whole plan- had asked Izzy's parents for permission, all of their friends and family in on it and the date was set. However, just like life, not all things go to as planned. Last minute changes had been made as the initial plan was not going to work because the backdrop of the proposal would not have been as private as he wanted. So, with quick action, Dustyn and Izzy's maid of honor, Katie DeFine, scoped out a new location at Roswell Mill. Dustyn got Izzy to the Mill and she saw the "Marry me" in candles and rose petals on the ground, but to throw her off again, Dustyn told Izzy they weren't for her. So as they were walking up to it, Izzy started to walk past it as she thought it wasn't for her, but Dustyn quickly pulled her back and said "Just kidding", got down on one knee and asked her to spend the rest of her life with him. Obviously, as you all can see, she said yes! Thank you all for being a part of our special day and journey.
