Danny and I may never have met had it not been for mutual friends of ours who seemed to have an idea we might be a good fit for each other. Danny was living in Georgia at the time our friends suggested we meet... so what else was there to do but make a visit to Michigan in early April 2022! Danny had lived in Michigan for many years prior to living in Georgia and he decided to fly back to hang out with his friends... as well as meet me! After just a few times hanging out during his short trip here, we discovered we made a pretty good match. We started a long distant relationship, and Georgia didn't seem so far away thanks to many long phone calls spent getting to know each other. Danny had planned to move back to Michigan that Summer anyways, but just might have hastened his move back after meeting me... We began dating in person immediately when he moved back in June of 2022. Danny and I's interest in the outdoors fuels many of our dates. From target shooting, to trail riding we quickly enjoyed sharing each others hobbies. It did not take too long before we began to discuss what a future together may look like. (I warned him... there would be a lot of horses...) But claiming he really does like horses, we continued to date and get to know each other better. Over the last two years we have grown together in our faith, and pushed each other to be the best versions of ourselves as we navigate our twenties together! Proving horses are now just as much his hobby as mine, he asked me one chilly day in February if I wanted to go to our first date spot where we trail rode the horses. The trailer was quickly packed and horses loaded for an evening ride. Danny was set on taking the scenic creek side trail that evening for a reason unknown to me. As we passed the creek he decided to pop the question, getting off his horse and onto one knee to do so! Now we are excitedly planning our wedding together, and we are delighted to have you there as our honored guest to help us celebrate!
