Viejo San Juan & El Morro
Old San Juan is filled with great local restaurants and shops. We recommend visiting El Morro, the fort built between the 16th and 18th century. El Morro is located at the entrance of Old San Juan and is about a 10-15 minute drive from the Condado area. At night, Old San Juan is also a great option for a night of bar hopping.
Toro Verde Zipline
Check out Toro Verde, the world's second longest zipline visited by both Jimmy Fallon and Lin-Manuel Miranda. If you're on the adventurous side, this one is definitely worth visiting! Orocovis is about an hour out from San Juan. Check out their website for more details.
Casa Bacardi
Ever wonder where Bacardi is made? The factory, Casa Bacardi is located near San Juan and offers a few tour options. Check out their website using the link below for details of the tour options. Casa Bacardi is about a 20 minute Uber ride from the San Juan area. Plus, if you're in Old San Juan, you can also take the ferry to Casa Bacardi for a more scenic option!
El Yunque Rainforest
Plan an escape to an enchanting rainforest. You can visit for a hike on one of its many trails, bathe in natural pools beneath waterfalls, or relax and enjoy the scenery. Due to COVID - You must wear a facemask at all times and reserve in tickets in advance through www.recreation.gov/ (up to one month beforehand).
El Jibarito Restaurant
Known for Comida Criolla, the combination of friendly servers and reasonable prices entices locals and tourists alike, it is amidst bright murals that guests sit at long tables, the menu containing everything from Beef with Onions to Mofongo and Goat Stew.
