FAQs

Question

Do the brides have any requests?

Answer

We ask all guests to please be respectful of everyone’s identities and preferred pronouns—your kindness helps create a safe, welcoming atmosphere for all.

Question

Is there a venue website?

Answer

https://www.heritageprairiefarm.com/

Question

Is the wedding child-free?

Answer

Yes. We love your kids, but this will be a child-free celebration. We hope you enjoy the evening as a night out!

Question

Who is invited? Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

To keep the celebration intimate, we are only able to accommodate the guests specifically named on your invitation. We kindly ask that you do not bring additional guests or plus-ones.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Think cocktail attire with a garden-party vibe—polished, celebratory, and comfortable enough to enjoy the outdoors. Dresses, jumpsuits, suits, or a cute matching set are all great options. Have fun with it!

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The celebration will be primarily outdoors, with some shaded and tented areas available. Around this time of year, the weather in Elburn typically ranges from a high of about 80°F to a low of around 60°F, so we recommend dressing comfortably for warm afternoons and cooler evenings.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please plan to arrive 20-30 minutes before the ceremony begins to allow time for mingling and seating.

Question

Will food and drinks be provided?

Answer

Yes! We’ll be serving dinner along with a selection of drinks. If you have any dietary restrictions, please let us know on your RSVP form.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Parking at the venue is very limited. We will have only a few spots available, and they must be requested in advance. This will also help to prevent drunk driving, and we strongly encourage guests to use the hotel shuttle, rideshares or carpool when possible.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you keep phones and cameras away during the ceremony so everyone can be fully present. We promise to share the professional photos afterward! Photos are welcome and encouraged at the reception <3

Question

I still have questions—who can I contact?

Answer

Feel free to reach out to us directly, we’re happy to help!
