When we met in 2020, we were two people in very different seasons of life and we had no idea what was ahead of us. After a flurry of life events and mutual friends had crossed our paths over and over, we ended up becoming next door neighbors (literally). After we started dating, we soon moved into an apartment together. At the beginning of 2021, we learned we were expecting our son, Jonah - a moment that changed everything. We were faced with a choice: grow together and build a family, or go separate ways. Choosing each other was the best decision we’ve ever made. Since then, life has been full. Jonah turned four years old this last November and he is the sweetest, most joyful child. We’ve navigated new jobs, long work weeks (including seasons where Colin worked 70+ hours to support our family), Izzi started her business, Colin graduated and started his dream career, we moved into our first home, and we even added a 75-pound goldendoodle named Bindi to make our home feel complete. Our story has been anything but traditional, but we have built a life that we are proud of & we would not change a thing. We are so excited for this new season of marriage and for all that’s still to come. We would not be here without the amazing people in our life who have helped support us.
