Isabella’s mom Toni and stepdad Bob met at work. Bob was an anesthesiologist and Toni was a nurse anesthetist. They worked in an operating room together for 15 years before falling in love (plus a few divorces sprinkled in). They married in 2009 where Isabella and her two sisters Becca and Ally were bridesmaids. Isabella wore her mom’s wedding gown when she and Ido eloped! They live in Wilmette when the weather is nice and Palm Desert in the winter. Isabella and Ido lived in Palm Desert for two winters while she travel nursed.

Gal Adar

Father of the Groom

Ido’s mom, Ilana and dad, Gal met as children when they lived in the same kibbutz in northern Israel. They started dating when they were young adults in the military and were married in 1994. They had two children, Roni and Ido in Israel before moving to Champaign, Illinois where their youngest daughter Noga was born. They now live in the same kibbutz as where they met. Roni surprised us and is pregnant with their first grandchild in Tel Aviv, so Ilana will be staying in Israel during the wedding to attend the birth. Wish them mazel tov!
