Answer
If our wedding day brings rain, guests will be guided to go to the atrium instead of being brought up to the open air chapel. Prepare the best you can, with layers, coats, umbrellas and comfy shoes that can get some mud on them. Upon arrival, guests will be asked to leave those items by the coat hangers by the bathroom.

When should I RSVP by?
Answer
We’re asking everyone to RSVP by March 1st. We want to ensure everyone is prepared well in advanced and feels comfortable.

Cocktail Attire Think romantic picnic meets spring soirée — flowy dresses, suits, and heels made for grass. Bright colors, florals, and spring prints encouraged! What time should I arrive?
Answer
We recommend arriving at least 20-30 minutes before the ceremony begins at 4pm, so you can grab a seat, listen to the music and soak in the beautiful scenery!

Can We Park at Venue Over Night?
Answer
Yes, but cars must be picked up by 10 am the following day. This is highly encouraged if you celebrated too hard and need a ride. We would rather you get home safe than worry about your car.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
We adore children and would love to celebrate with everyone. However, due to budget and space constraints, we are only able to welcome children in the wedding party. Thank you so much for your understanding.

Can I bring a date?
Answer
At this time, we’re only able to accommodate the guests listed on the invitation. If your invitation includes a plus one, they’re absolutely welcome to join!

Is the Ceremony & Reception at the same location?
Answer
Yes, our whole wedding day will be spent at the Venue at Carley Brooke. The Ceremony will take place at the Open Air Chapel on the hillside, after you will be shuttled down to the refurbished Barn for Cocktail Hour and the rest of the Reception.

Are there room blocks?
Answer
Yes! Room blocks will be provided at the Hotel Anthracite. Please reserve your hotel room by February 23, 2026 to receive the wedding room block rate. More information is provided under “Places to Stay.”

Are Taxis or Uber available?
Answer
The Poconos are home to many small towns, like Honesdale, where the population is small and ride services are limited. To ensure a ride, it's best to schedule an appointment in advance with Uber or a local service like Time Away Transportation. For more information, see "Places to Stay."

Will transportation be provided?
Answer
Yes! We’ll be offering a school bus shuttle for guests staying at the Hotel Anthracite. If you're not staying at the Hotel Anthracite and need transportation, a link to a taxi service & more information will be provided in "Places to Stay."

If I'm not staying at the Hotel Anthracite, can I still use the shuttle?
Answer
The shuttle accommodates up to 48 people, possibly more if they are able to squeeze in, but we are requesting that only those staying at the Anthracite Hotel use the shuttle.

Is there parking at the Venue at Carley Brooke?
Answer
Yes! Their parking lot capacity holds up to 100 cars.

Is the Venue Wheelchair Accessible?
Answer
Yes! All indoor spaces and the two outdoor cocktail spaces are wheelchair accessible. For the outdoor Ceremony on the hillside, the staff at Carley Brook will instruct wheelchair users to drive their car up to the open-air chapel.
