Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! We ask that you dress in ALL BLACK. Black Tie or Formal Attire. We recommend a black suit and tie and a black floor-length dress. White shirts with suits are okay. If you do not have a suit, black collared shirts are okay. Additionally, the grass lawn is soft; consider this when selecting shoes. We encourage you to bring an additional pair of shoes for dancing! What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at the venue NO later than 15 minutes before the ceremony. We encourage guests to arrive at 1 pm. This will allow time for you to park and find your seat. If you arrive after the start of the ceremony at 1:30 pm, you will not be able to be seated.

Where should we park?

Answer

There is not designated parking for the location. Please find a parking spot along the street.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony, meaning that once the ceremony begins, we ask that all phones be put away and silenced. We want everyone to be fully present with us. We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us and we promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like!

Are the ceremony and reception at the same place?

Answer

No! The ceremony is at The Wedding Bowl in La Jolla. The reception is a sunset cruise taking off from 2700 Shelter Island Dr, San Diego, CA 92106. There will be several hours between the ceremony and reception. Therefore, you'll get to leave the venue and explore the amazing city for a bit!

Can I bring a guest/date?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you so much for your understanding!

Will there be alcohol at the reception?

Answer

We have chosen to have a cash bar to ensure everyone can fully enjoy and create lasting memories. We can not wait to celebrate with you!

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by August 1st. If you do not RSVP in time, we will assume you are unable to attend.

What do I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be dearly missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "Not Attending" so we can plan accordingly. We will be live-streaming the wedding for those who cannot attend in person so they can join us virtually.
