Where Are The Ceremony And Reception Taking Place?
Answer
At Oak View Wedding and Events! The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all be held here! There are many different areas, outdoor activities, fireplaces, swings, etc. to explore on the grounds (which makes it the perfect place for all of our extroverts and introverts).

Are Kids Invited?
Answer
We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep the ceremony adults only. We hope you understand. Your presence is a gift & we hope you can enjoy the night off! We can't wait to celebrate with you!

What About Parking and Shuttles?
Answer
There is plenty of parking at the venue! Cars are allowed to stay overnight but must be moved by 9:30am the next day. We will also have an evening shuttle bus bringing guests from the venue to the 2 hotels listed on the travel page. There will be 3 shuttle trips at approximately 9:30pm, 10:30pm, and 11:30pm.

What is the Dress Code?
Answer
We would love for our family and friends to dress up for our big day. We request cocktail (semi-formal) attire. Think summer garden party! Most of the day (hopefully) will be outside so be sure to dress accordingly! We encourage any color or pattern, but please avoid solid whites, creams and ivories.

Will The Wedding Take Place Indoors or Outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony, cocktail hour, and dance will take place outdoors (weather permitting!). Dinner will be held in a covered, climate controlled room. Be sure to stay hydrated throughout the day and a shaded area with A/C will be available at all times to escape the potential August heat.

Is There an Open Bar?
Answer
Unfortunately, Oak View does not allow us to host an open bar. However, wine and beer (2 kegs) are on us during cocktail hour! After that, wine will switch to a cash bar and beer stays free until the kegs run dry. A full cash bar will be available throughout the night.

Can I Bring a Date?
Answer
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Thank you for understanding!
