Publix Super Market at Bay Pointe Plaza
If you didn't go to Publix on your trip to Florida, did you really even go to Florida? (The answer is no.) Besides just being a grocery store that can be spotted on every street in Florida, this is also the place Alex and I met and began our relationship. Enjoy some of our favorites like Chicken Tender Pub Subs, potato wedges from the deli, and just about anything from the bakery section. Discover the Publix difference today!
Chick-fil-A
What even is there to say? To be fair, Chick-Fil-A started as more of a classic for Alex, and was a once in a blue moon indulgence for me, but I was very quickly converted haha. The food is top-notch, and the service will leave you with a smile on your face. There's of course something for everyone, but if you'd like some inspiration, Alex gets a Spicy Chicken Sandwich deluxe meal, with pepper jack cheese of course; And I get an 8 count chicken nugget meal, usually both with a crisp root beer.
Busch Gardens Tampa Bay
Busch Gardens is almost a quintessential visit for a Florida trip. This thrilling theme park is a haven for thrill-seekers and animal lovers alike. Soar through the sky on heart-pounding roller coasters, get up close and personal with exotic animals, and enjoy live shows suited for the whole family. Sunken Gardens
Imagine a hidden paradise where vibrant flowers bloom year-round, exotic birds sing, and tranquility reigns. Sunken Gardens is the perfect escape for you! Tickets are quite cheap, at around $20 per person, but do be aware that they close at 4:30, so get up early to enjoy all the animals and beat the heat! Springtime is Alex and I's favorite time of year to go.
