It all started one unforgettable night, November 10th 2017 in San Dimas, when Emily saw Dan across the bar. What began as a typical night out for these two strangers, changed their lives forever as they chatted over whiskey, line dancing, and shooting pool. Dan and Emily knew their connection was special. They spent the next few weeks seeing each other almost every day until Dan got a job opportunity in San Francisco. Despite the distance between them, they made it work. Every weekend for a year, they took turns driving up or down the coast to spend time together. Racking up a ton of miles on their vehicles, was all worth it to strengthen their bond. In 2019, they took the next step, moving in together and renting their first apartment in Pasadena. It was there they adopted their first dog, Beth, and began building their life together. Their journey continued in 2021, when they bought their first home in Claremont, where they added another member to their family—Sadie, their second dog. In January 2023, Dan and Emily took another big leap, purchasing their forever home in Wrightwood. They also welcomed a third pup, Maggie, because Emily loves animals and Dan loves Emily. Dan and Emily have endless travel adventures together but their greatest adventure of all began May 11, 2024, when they welcomed their son, Hank Ames, with a sequel to the adventure on September 15, 2025 when baby sister, Morgan Grace, joined the fun! After nearly nine years together, two homes, three dogs, and two beautiful babies, Dan and Emily knew it was time to celebrate their love with the ultimate commitment. Their journey together has been filled with adventure, laughter, and countless memories, and they are thrilled to continue this beautiful love story with their wedding day.
