Will's childhood best friend just so happened to be an acquaintance of mine. He and his wife planted the seed, and after weeks of avoidance from me, Will and I finally agreed to meet. Sparks flew over rosé and a horrible failure by Will at a card game, but it was my ultimate loss at rock, paper, scissors that sealed the deal. We have been together ever since!

Will was in town the night before my much anticipated 30th birthday. After a quick dinner, he suggested a wine walk around the neighborhood with our dog, Lulu. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary; so we strolled, drinks in hand, idly around Spanish Town. Upon reaching the state capital grounds, Will announced that since it was my birthday he had a small gift. I turned around and Will was down on one knee holding Lulu and a small box. My initial response was to ask, "Is this real?!", and it was! I repeatedly said yes, and we were engaged! We are so very excited to celebrate with our closest friends and family!
