We met in November of 2016 through mutual friends. Jeffrey originally had plans, but once he saw a picture of me, he quickly changed them. When I met him, I gave him an extremely hard time. He was considering cutting our time short and going home. However, he stuck around and literally swept me off my feet. After that night, we were inseparable.
On September 28, 2018, Jeffrey told me that we were going out for my birthday. I got dressed, got my makeup done, and was ready to go out to partake in a night on the town. Our first stop was the SkyView (Ferris wheel) at Centennial park. Due to the possibility of rain, we were only able to ride for a short time. It felt like 30 seconds. As he walked me out of the area, he blindfolded me. I was apprehensive about it because I asked a million questions. The blindfold was taken off, and I immediately saw Jeffrey down on one knee. With sparklers in their hand, close friends and family surrounded us as he popped the big question. I immediately answered "Yes, I'll marry you!"
Jeff and I made the commitment to each other during a virtual marriage ceremony on September 25, 2020. We were able to start our lives together as husband and wife. We can't wait to celebrate this joyous occasion with our family and friends. We look forward to seeing you there.
