There are several great hotels within close distance to our venue. We have not blocked off a set of rooms at any particular hotel due to the number of our invited guests. Please note: The Ryder Cup (PGA Tour event in Kohler, WI) is being held the weekend of our wedding. Because of this, there is limited hotel availability. We would recommend looking into AirBnBs for your stay in Milwaukee. AirBnB Tips: Search in Bay View or Walker's Point neighborhoods, filter for entire place, look at final booking price.
Your presence at our wedding is a gift in itself! However, for friends and family who would like to provide gifts to the Mrs. & Mr., we’ve created an online fund for our honeymoon slated for next year. URL: https://www.honeyfund.com/wedding/blumer-rossiter-09-25-2021
While we would love to extend an invitation to everyone in our circles and beyond, we have selected the invitees to match our (micro)wedding vision and the available space at our venue.
Festivities will be held at a small and intimate venue, Glassnote Candle Bar which is located in the historic Walker’s Point Neighborhood in Milwaukee. Our ceremony and reception will take place inside, but there is an outdoor patio that we plan to make use of for our wedding. Knowing Wisconsin weather, we would recommend bringing a jacket if the weather is cooler. The venue has an elevator that can be used for guests that require assistance. We are being mindful of our vegetarians and those individuals who have other dietary restrictions that we are aware of. We are catering through a local Italian restaurant called Tenuta’s and have specifically chosen dishes/sides that provide options for a variety of individuals. If you have a specific request, please reach out to Ivy or David to discuss.
