It was break time at work when Daniel received a call from his good friend Michael, who was overseas at the time. They casually checked up on each other from time to time just to do the usual catching-up. This particular evening, the conversation would have a little twist from the usual. With a serious tone (unlike his accustomed jovial tone), Michael made mention of a pretty damsel he had happened to lay eyes on during a visit to a program held at the damsel's church. He spoke of how decent, well-mannered, cultured, virtuous and above all God-fearing this young lady appeared. Apparently, Michael had become very good friends with her and had even gone ahead to alert her of a wonderful male-friend he had back home, who to him, will be an excellent friend to have. Introductions were made and pleasantries exchanged. The pretty damsel introduced herself as Ivy, and the wonderful gentleman, Daniel did likewise. They kept in touch every now and then. Daniel was in Ghana at the time and had applied to further his studies in Canada, of which he eventually gained admission into and relocated to Canada. Ivy lived in the States. With his move to Canada, Daniel and Ivy stayed in touch more often than they did before. This eventually blossomed into a lovely relationship which we all bear witness to presently. They begin a forever journey soon; a graceful culmination of their friendship. Indeed, God makes all things beautiful in His own time.
