Yes, please wear formal attire. Men are encouraged to wear dark colored suits and ties, and women may wear midi- or floor length dresses.

Due to space limitations, we are only able to accommodate guests listed on each invitation. Thank you for your understanding.

While we love your little ones, we kindly ask that our wedding be an adults-only celebration.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We encourage guests to stay at the cottages and cabins conveniently located in and around Indian Springs State Park. Be advised, these accommodations are limited and are reserved on a first come, first served basis. Please book in advance. We also recommend the Candlewood Suites and Holiday Inn Express in Jackson, conveniently located off I-75. Visit the "travel" tab at the top of the website for further information and links.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Yes, there is a public parking lot across from Jackson Presbyterian Church. There is also ample parking available at Idlewilde Event Center Note: There are limited Lyfts and Ubers in the area. Please be responsible and arrange designated transportation. Shuttle transportation to and from the reception will be available for guests staying in the Indian Springs cottages and cabins.

Are the ceremony and reception at the same location?

Answer

No, the ceremony will take place at Jackson Presbyterian Church at 4:30 pm. The reception will begin shortly after 5:00 pm at Idlewilde Event Center.

What is the closest airport? Should I rent a car?

Answer

Out of town guests are encouraged to fly into Hartsfield Jackson International Airport. Guests traveling from Washington, D.C. may fly directly from Baltimore (BWI) to Macon, GA (MCN) via Contour Airlines. Be advised, Hartsfield-Jackson is the busiest airport in the world, and Flovilla is roughly an hour south of the airport. Please give yourself ample time for traffic and security. We recommend guests rent a vehicle at the airport upon arrival. Rideshare options are limited in the area, and having a car will make getting around much easier.
