The McCalebbs

It began at my cousin’s house, where Tanell always seemed to be around. Curious, I would often ask why he was there so much — not knowing that those visits would be the beginning of something special. As time went on, I started coming around more, and we began spending more time together. I quickly noticed how sweet he was. Whether we were making simple mall runs or just hanging out, he would always hold the door open for me and treat me with such kindness. Those little things meant more than he probably knew. Eventually, Tanell asked me out, and our journey officially began. High school love wasn’t always easy — boy, was it hard at times — but we grew up together. We learned each other, supported one another, and kept choosing each other year after year. On our 8th anniversary, Tanell made our love story even more special by proposing. After everything we had been through and built together, it felt like the most perfect next step. This August marks nine years of us — nine years of love, growth, and commitment. And now, we’re ready to begin forever as husband and wife.
