Where is Water Valley Campground?

Answer

The campground is about an hour's drive from Calgary.

Is there cellular reception there?

Answer

There is reception available, but it's not the greatest.

Is there a hotel nearby in case we don't want to camp?

Answer

No worries! There are a few options for accommodations nearby in Cremona and Sundre. The closest one to the campground is Allen Acres B&B.

What should we bring?

Answer

All we want is for you to show up and have the best time celebrating our love together. If you would like to stay the night (or more), we will have ample space for you to pitch your own tent or bring a small trailer, but please advise us of your accommodations in your RSVP so we can book enough spots. If you're only planning to stay for the evening, we would still recommend you bring some essentials, like bug spray, sunscreen, and a camping chair.

We chose to not have a registry, but would gladly welcome a bag of firewood for the weekend!

What should I wear?

Answer

As long as you wear clothes, I think we'll be happy. Please be advised the celebration will be outdoors, so be mindful of the weather. We recommend a change of clothes for the evening as it can get chilly.

Will food and drinks be provided?

Answer

We’ll have a light buffet-style dinner catered for you, plus plenty of snacks, water, and soda to keep you fueled. We’ll provide some alcohol too, but feel free to bring your favorite drinks to share around the campfire! If you're staying for a day or two, please prepare for your own meals.

Can I bring my pet?

Yes, please! Campground rules state they must be leashed at all times.

What if it rains?

Answer

We're saying "I Do" come rain or shine. We will have a gazebo set up, along with some tarps for back up. We understand if you are unable to stay or make it due to weather concerns.
