Finally

As many of you know, our hearts have been set on an Ireland wedding for as long as we can remember. This isn't just a fleeting idea; it's a dream we've patiently held onto for years, and it's one we absolutely won't back down from. We've always envisioned eloping on a dramatic cliffside, feeling the cool Irish wind on our skin, surrounded by the stunning, wild beauty that only Ireland can offer. This is truly the wedding of our dreams. And now, after all this time, it's finally coming to fruition! We are so incredibly excited that this vision is becoming a reality, and we absolutely cannot wait to share this once-in-a-lifetime experience with those of you who are coming along with us. For those who won't be making the journey across the pond, please know that we will also be having a wonderful celebration back home in Washington. We can't wait to celebrate our marriage with all of our beloved friends and family!

From Domino's employees to forever – who knew our love story would begin over working at the worst job ever, and friendship so many years ago? We met, we clicked, and even when life pulled us apart for stretches, coming back together always felt like picking up right where we left off. There was an undeniable connection, even way back when we shared our first "date" at Lake Killarney, sipping Cupcake wine, and losing track of time in conversation. Years later, fate had its own plans for us. What started as haircuts and sushi dates blossomed into something truly magical. Whether it was talking for hours in the car by the waterfront, lively nights out at BJ's, or dancing at Candipop, every moment together was filled with laughter and pure joy. It just felt right. Slowly, beautifully, we realized we weren't just friends anymore – we were falling deeply and completely in love. We started dreaming of a future together: exploring new places, buying a home, and experiencing all of life's adventures hand-in-hand. Looking back, so many of those dreams have already come true! But there's one breathtaking dream left on our list: exchanging vows on a dramatic cliffside in Ireland, just like where we got engaged. As our wedding day draws near, our hearts are overflowing with gratitude. We're so thankful for every shared moment and the incredible love and support of our family and friends who have watched our relationship flourish. It's been a whirlwind of a ride since we officially started dating: moving in, buying a house, and welcoming a puppy (and two cats!) into our lives, all amidst a global pandemic! We've both attended school, Ivy completing her Bachelor's and starting her Master's. We've made countless memories on seaside trips, camping adventures, day trips, and unforgettable journeys to California (Disneyland, Universal, beaches, LA, Hollywood, Belmont Park!), a long journey to Kansas, and, of course, Ireland. This crazy, wonderful life we've built together is something neither of us would trade for anything. We are beyond excited to continue this incredible journey as husband and wife. The best is yet to come!

Our trip to Ireland was a dream we'd shared for years, and it turned into the most magical chapter of our story. A few days before we were set to leave, we found ourselves at the breathtaking Cliffs of Moher. Tyler, ever the romantic, led me down a secluded path, away from the crowds. We stood there, hand-in-hand, just taking in the sheer grandeur of the cliffs meeting the wild Atlantic. As we started to walk back, he softly called my name, "Ivy." I turned, and in what felt like a dream, he dropped his backpack, then dropped to one knee. My heart jumped into my throat! He asked me to marry him, and in that moment, time just stopped. It was absolutely perfect, more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. Was I surprised? A little bit, yes! It all clicked into place why he'd been acting like such a nervous weirdo all morning, haha! A moment in time we will never forget!
