Formal attire, please! Dresses for women (if dresses are not your thing a nice pantsuit works too!) and suits for men. The reception is indoor/outdoor, with brunch outside.
Yes! We encourage all guests to use our provided transportation. We will provide two rounds of bus transportation: First, from our San Francisco City Hall ceremony to our reception at Aracely Cafe on Treasure Island, and then the same bus transportation will also be provided back to San Francisco City Hall after the reception (for those heading back that way). Guests are responsible for their own transportation to San Francisco City Hall in the morning (ride share apps recommended). If you choose to drive yourself to City Hall in the morning you can park your car in one of two parking garages (see next FAQ question) and retrieve it after getting dropped back off at the end of the day. If you feel inclined to also drive to the reception there are first come first serve parking spots located close to the entrance. If you are not heading back towards the city after the reception we request that you use ride share services if home is a different direction for you. An obvious reminder for all to please abstain from drinking and driving.
We request that guests please utilize our transportation but if you feel inclined to drive, there are two parking garage options close to San Francisco City Hall: Civic Center Plaza Garage 355 McAllister Street (at Polk) | 415.863.1537 Performing Arts Garage 360 Grove Street (at Gough) | 415.252.8238 At Aracely Cafe there are first come, first serve parking spots near the front entrance, as well as street parking. Again, please don't drink and drive!
Warm summer climate is to be expected, with fog being a regular feature of San Francisco summers. Weather on Treasure Island is always warmer than the city proper so please plan accordingly.
All food at our reception will be family style, and we are ensuring that there will be options for all diets (vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free).
While we love your little ones, we ask that they stay home. If this is not an option for you, please let us know!
