FAQs

If you have any other questions that are not listed, please reach out to Kyle or Ivelisse!
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than April 24, 2023.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal. We aren't expecting you to wear a tuxedo, but please look nice! The wedding venue is outdoors, so we would suggest not wearing stiletto or high heels as the grass could be damp depending on the weather. If you prefer and want to wear heels we suggest just bringing a second, flat shoe to possibly switch into if need be.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony/reception?

Answer

Parking will be available at the Trinity Lutheran Church parking lot located at the corner of Fourth St. and Chestnut St. It is a one block walk to the venue. There is also street parking in the neighborhood, but it may be difficult to find spots on a Saturday evening.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We have limited space at the venue. If your child(ren) are not listed in your RSVP group we kindly ask that you find a babysitter or other arrangement.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to our limited space, only the people named on the invitations are able to come.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be outdoors. There will be a tent cover for the dinner tables.

Question

Is this an "unplugged" ceremony?

Answer

We would prefer that your cell phones remain away and on silent during the ceremony. However, once the ceremony is over feel free to use your devices to take all the pictures you want!

Question

Is there an open bar?

Answer

There will be an open bar. Please bring cash to tip the bartenders.
