Vasil Levski Sofia Airport (Terminal 1 or 2) Terminal 2 - Lufthansa, Bulgaria Air and other major airlines land here. The Metro (=U-Bahn/Subway/Tube) is located right at the airport exit. Once you go out of the airport go left, keep going, and you will eventually see the Metro entrance. Travel to the city centre (Serdica Station) is 30-35 minutes. Terminal 1 - Budget airlines (WizzAir, Ryanair, etc.) land here. If you chose this airport then you will have to take the free bus from Terminal 1 to Terminal 2. At Terminal 2 there is direct, easy Metro to Sofia city centre (Serdica Station). Map of Metro: https://www.metropolitan.bg/shema/dejstvashto-metro Cost of Metro (U-Bahn/Tube) tickets: €0.80 per ride. You can pay with debit/credit card directly at the entrance. Machine for tickets in English is also at the entrance if you prefer paper ticket - pay with coins or by card. All announcements inside the train are both in Bulgarian and English. For Late Arrivals: The Sofia Metro generally operates from 05:00 to 00:00 (Midnight). However, "midnight" is when the last trains reach their final destination, not when they depart from every station. Last train from Sofia Airport: Typically departs around 23:30 (11:30 PM).If your flight lands after 23:00, you are cutting it very close. By the time you clear immigration and pick up your bags, you will likely miss the last metro. Late at night, trains run less frequently (roughly every 15–20 minutes). Night Bus: Sofia has a night bus network (N1, N2, N3, N4), but the routes are often confusing for first-time visitors and don't always serve the airport directly as efficiently as a taxi would. Cost of Taxis: A typical trip from Sofia Airport to the city centre should cost between €9–13. See the Taxi page for more information.

You can take the Metro train (=U-Bahn/Tube) from Serdica Station back to Terminal 2. You are looking for the Yellow Line (M4). Your destination (and final) station is called "Letishte Sofia/Sofia Airport". This is an easy 30-35 minutes long trip. Be careful not to take the Red Line (M1) with final station Business Park. This is another line going to a different location. The two trains stop at the same stop at Serdica station.

Shuttle
September 22, 2026 3:30 pm - 4:15 pm
A shuttle will be running from the parking next to Cathedral Saint Nedelia (https://tinyurl.com/3jxch8b8) to the wedding venue at Pasarel Lake Club and back. Getting there: We have chosen this church for the church ritual because it is a very central location and close to many major hotels. It should be walkable distance for you or you can hop on the Metro (U-Bahn/Tube) and get off at Serdica Station. The idea is it is easy for you to get from your hotel to this Church for the church ritual. After that the shuttle can take the guests from the church to the Wedding Venue. Getting back: For all guests who will not be using their own vehicle back to Sofia. Please let us know if we should count you for our transport. Arranged transport back to Sofia - A shuttle bus will be available approximately an hour after the cake cutting. For those who wish to continue the celebration, the venue will gladly assist in arranging private taxis.
