An Irishman and a Ukrainian girl walked into a Polish bar ... 
and that's how it all started

How We Met

Both from different countries and living abroad. Daily debates over what's better: Guinness vs vodka (you vote); while indulging in Grape Apes. Peter's converting Ivanna into a sports fan and she's teaching him Ukrainian. Now he can easily order toast and jam for breakfast in Ukrainian: тост і джем (reads tost e jam).

The Foreigners

Peter preyed on Ivanna's love of photoshoots and tricked her into a trip to Mears park (St. Paul). 
Two people, three cameras didn't tip her off. While Ivanna was glamorously posing, Peter dropped to one knee. Peter was on his knee for what felt like an eternity before she even noticed. SHE SAID YES! Before putting a ring on her finger, he waved to the loudly cheering crowd of friends that were waiting for them to come up for the  surprise engagement party!
