Wedding Party

June Wood

Mother of the Groom

Ivan’s mom is fun, outgoing, loving, caring, and endlessly supportive. Growing up, Ivan loved having her as his very own events coordinator—she was always planning trips and adventures for as long as he can remember. Creative and resourceful, she somehow always found a way to make things happen, no matter the challenge. Ivan especially remembers the late-night trips to the hospital because of his asthma, even when he reassured his mom that he was okay—because a mom’s worry always wins. She is also an incredible cook who would do anything her kids asked, from cleaning their ears when they were little to making sure every gathering and party featured delicious, lovingly prepared meals. Ivan feels incredibly blessed to have grown up with a mom who gave so much of herself, created so many memories, and filled their home with love, laughter, and really good food.

Dennis Tyau

Father of the Groom

When I was in elementary school, my dad had the fastest way to wake me and my brother up for our long car rides: donuts. The second he asked, we went from half asleep to fully dressed in about 30 seconds. We’d show up to see our grandma completely sugared up and ready to give her a run for her money. Growing up, my dad also took me golfing after work, took our family camping every year, and somehow even agreed to bring my high school friends along. Because he worked at Aloha Stadium, we got VIP parking and ride tickets at the state fair, which made us feel pretty important. And one day my dad casually came home with a boat like, “Well… I guess we’re a fishing family now.”

Raymond and Elizabeth Horn

Parents of the Bride

Raymond and Elizabeth Horn, Vicki’s beloved parents, will be watching from Heaven as part of the great cloud of witnesses. Married for 59 years, each truly believed it was a miracle that they were married to the other. They lived with deep gratitude for one another and trusted God through each season. They often reminded Vicki that things can be replaced, but people cannot. Their greatest hope was to see each generation go farther than the last, and today they would be cheering louder than anyone as Vicki and Ivan begin their life together. Vicki’s mother was poised and elegant, teaching her what it means to be a lady. Her father was generous, funny, full of life, and had the loudest laugh in the building. From him, Vicki inherited her love of laughter and her stand-up comedy spirit. Their love, wisdom, and joy are woven into this celebration and will always be part of the story being written today.

Pastor Scott Spangle

Officiant

When Ivan and Vicki began looking for premarital counseling, they were referred to Pastor Scott and his wife, Pastor Brandy, who lead the Celebrate Recovery ministry at Church for the Nations Chandler and a Connect Group in Queen Creek. Married for more than 30 years, Pastor Scott and Pastor Brandy shared wisdom from their own marriage as well as from the many couples they have counseled over the years. Ivan and Vicki have learned so much from their guidance and transparency and are very grateful for the role they have played in preparing them for marriage. We are truly honored and thrilled that Pastor Scott will be officiating our wedding.

Lauraine Masciantonio

Matron of Honor

Lauraine is wise, loyal, and wildly fun—the kind of person who effortlessly becomes the life of the party while also being deeply understanding and compassionate. Vicki and Lauraine met in their early twenties while working at Procter & Gamble at a Charmin plant, and they quickly became close friends. They shared a love for dancing, Christian music and enjoyed spending time together, building a friendship rooted in joy and faith. Their friendship has stood the test of both time and distance. Even after being apart for more than ten years and living across the country from one another, reconnecting felt as though no time had passed at all—they simply get each other. They are always only a phone call away, praying for one another and offering encouragement through every season. Lauraine is also a licensed professional counselor, bringing wisdom, compassion, and a generous heart to everyone blessed to know her. It is a true honor to have Lauraine standing by Vicki’s side on this special day.

Rance Tyau

Best Man

Rance is the groom’s younger brother and has been part of Ivan’s life since Ivan was three years old—back when Rance was a lovable little rascal who somehow survived being teased by his older brother and gave his parents a run for their money on a regular basis. Growing up, Rance’s adventurous spirit led to a series of memorable escapades, including getting his head stuck in a back fence and, on one occasion, mysteriously ending up in the trunk of a car (a story the family still loves to tell). A true island original, Rance has spent his whole life in beautiful Hawaii, where he works in IT at Pearl Harbor. He’s incredibly generous, caring, and impressively financially savvy—the kind of guy you want in your corner and on your group text. Rance is married to his wife, Gail, and together they have three rambunctious boys who keep life full, busy, joyful, and probably just a little loud. We’re so lucky to have Rance as part of the wedding day—and the family.

Grace Negvesky

Bridesmaid

Grace, Vicki's youngest daughter is strong, sensitive, wise, loyal, and deeply honest. She lives in Casa Grande and is an incredible mom, showing wisdom beyond her years—especially in the way she lovingly raises her daughters. Grace has a deep love for music and a beautiful voice, and she brings that same creativity and heart into everything she does. She works in construction sales, is an amazing cook, and is someone whose strength and warmth are felt by everyone around her. We’re so grateful to celebrate with Grace on this special day.

Han Sie

Groomsman

Han is one of the groom’s closest friends and has been by his side since high school, where they first met in chess club—proof that great friendships can start with a checkmate. From there, their bond grew through countless hours spent playing basketball, bowling, cards, and making memories at the state fair. Han is incredibly positive, loyal, and caring. Han lives in Hawaii, where he works on nuclear submarines at Pearl Harbor. He’s married to his wife Chen, and together they have two sons. We’re so excited to celebrate with Han and grateful to have him as part of the wedding party.

Kylie Negvesky

Bridesmaid

Kylie is Vicki’s newest daughter-in-love—having married Jonathan last October. She’s fun, smart, resourceful, and endlessly helpful. Originally from California, Kylie now lives in Chandler. She’s the ultimate wedding website guru, works as an Anti-Money Laundering Investigator, and somehow still finds time to be a party-planner extraordinaire—known especially for her incredible balloon arches. Kylie has shared many special memories with Ivan and Vicki, from double dates at Pecan Lake to taking them to their very first metal concert (with more to come). Add in the fact that she’s also a great cook, and it’s easy to see why we’re so lucky to have her as part of this family.

Jonathan Negvesky

Groomsman

Jonathan grew up in Pennsylvania and now lives in Chandler, Arizona. He’s known for being fun, endlessly entertaining, and for somehow remembering the most random facts at exactly the right moment. He loves SO deeply and is SO loyal. Wise in his own unique way, Jonathan loves to party, celebrate, and make any gathering more memorable. He is Vicki’s son and is married to his wife, Kylie. Together, they’ve shared plenty of great memories with family—including taking Ivan and Vicki to their very first metal concert and enjoying a double date with them at Pecan Lake. Ivan was honored to help Jonathan celebrate his wedding this past October, and the love and laughter they share make him an especially meaningful part of this celebration.

Corinne Negvesky

Bridesmaid

Corinne, Vicki’s eldest daughter, is wise, sensitive, loving, and incredibly determined. She lives in California, where she is pursuing her dream of serving others through medicine as a medical student at UCLA. With a heart for advocacy, Corinne is passionate about supporting children and representing the needs of those in foster care. She has also served her community as an EMT, driving an ambulance and providing care in high-pressure situations. Corinne’s compassion, strength, and dedication to helping others are a true reflection of who she is, and we’re so proud to have her as part of this celebration.

Gerald Christlieb

Groomsman

Gerald lives in Mesa and is known for being wise, outgoing, and deeply supportive. Ivan met Gerald about a year ago at Generation Church, where Gerald quickly became not only a good friend but also a trusted mentor. Along with his wife, Jodi, Gerald serves on the worship team, using music and faith to uplift those around them. Gerald played a significant role in helping Ivan heal and grow after his divorce, offering guidance, understanding, and encouragement every step of the way. He is also a leader in Ivan’s Celebrate Recovery step study, and the two stay in regular contact. Ivan is incredibly grateful for Gerald’s influence, friendship, and steady presence in his life.

Diane Rummens

Maid of Honor

Diane is kind, sensitive, loyal, and fun, and she lives in Mesa. Diane is Vicki’s sister-chick—the sister she never had. They met when she became Vicki’s dad’s first (and family’s favorite) caregiver, and from the very beginning, she became part of their family. Through every up and down, Diane has been by her side with unwavering love and support. Her presence, compassion, and laughter mean more to Vicki than words can say, and she's so grateful to have Dinae standing with her on this special day.

Ralph Alcozer

Groomsman

Ralph lives in Mesa and works in student finance. He’s funny, outgoing, and always brings a positive, happy energy wherever he goes. Ivan met Ralph about a year ago at Generation Church, and the two quickly became close friends, growing together in their faith. They serve together in outreach and enjoy spending time outside of church as well—whether that’s watching football, hiking, or attending Bold Men events together. Ralph’s friendship, encouragement, and good humor make him a meaningful part of Ivan’s life, and we’re so glad to have him in the wedding party.

Rebecca Guevara

Bridesmaid

Rebecca met Vicki five years ago when Vicki accidentally threw men’s boots at her during baby shower games—an unforgettable introduction that got their friendship off to a slightly rocky (and airborne) start. Thankfully, when they reconnected a few years later, they quickly discovered how much they shared, including a deep love for the Lord, family, and business. Since then, Rebecca and Vicki have bonded over helping others through health coaching, meaningful conversations, travel adventures, and lots of laughs. Rebecca is faithful, loving, and genuinely fun to be around, and Vicki feels incredibly blessed and grateful to have her standing by her side on this very special day.

Kerry Rogers

Groomsman

Kerry Rogers is an outgoing, fun-loving friend who brings great energy wherever he goes. Ivan has known Kerry for over a year through various Cornerstone activities and mutual friends, and their friendship quickly grew through shared interests and time spent together. Kerry loves pickleball, staying active, and connecting with others, and he’s always up for a good time—especially if it includes a few jokes and some memorable photo poses. Ivan and Kerry have enjoyed many fun outings together, including an unforgettable trip to Maui filled with great memories. They make it a point to get together regularly, whether it’s for pickleball or trying something new, and even though Kerry lives on the other side of town, he never hesitates to make the effort—a true sign of a great friend. Kerry’s faith, sense of humor, and genuine friendship mean a lot to Ivan, and he’s grateful to have him standing by his side on this special day.

Arie Duran

Flower Girl

Meet Arie, Vicki’s lively four-year-old granddaughter, whose sparkling curiosity and boundless energy make every moment brighter. She adores cuddles, dressing up, and adding her own playful charm to the celebration, making this wedding feel truly magical through her eyes.

Analia Duran

Flower Girl

Analia is Arie’s eight-year-old big sister and Grace’s bonus daughter. She is unapologetically honest, naturally funny, and absolutely loves people. A wonderful big sister to Arie, Analia takes her role seriously—especially when it comes to setting a good example. She also loves dressing up, which makes being a flower girl pretty much the perfect job.
