Ivan and Nicole met in 2016 while attending Cal State Fullerton. After 3 years of being just friends, Nicole made the first move and asked Ivan to hang out one day. Time passed and their feelings grew for each other and they marked the beginning of their relationship on August 10, 2019. Each milestone along the way has been a testament to their love and commitment—from graduating college and completing their teaching credentials, to landing their first teaching jobs, renting their first apartment, adopting their two cats, becoming homeowners, and now getting ready to say “I do.” Ivan took Nicole to their first date spot at Sunset Beach and popped the question and of course, she said yes. They will be getting married on June 26th, 2026 at the Brea Arts Garden.
