We are tying the knot

We met for our first date at the JINYA Ramen Bar in the lively Mosaic District in Fairfax, VA. Nhi was shy, but quickly opened up as Ivan rattled on about many subjects. She found his insightfulness intriguing and charming, unlike his shoes, which looked like something a goblin would wear. He proposed they take a stroll over to the thrift store nearby to walk down their meal. It was there Ivan noticed how Nhi prioritized her family over herself, as she looked for items that she thought they might find useful. He found her devotion to her family to be inspiring and heartwarming. More importantly, he liked that she laughed at his incessant jokes. They held hands as they waled back to her car, and sealed the evening off with a kiss on the cheek, with the promise of meeting again later that month. And so they did, and then did again many many times later, leading us to where we are now.
