Question

What time should we aim to arrive? What time should we aim to depart?

Answer

Generally we expect most guests to arrive the afternoon / night of Friday, October 10th. Given there may be some variance in arrival times, we did not schedule any events for Friday night. Additionally, we expect that most guests will depart the morning of Monday, October 13th (which is a holiday for the U.S.). A farewell breakfast will be provided that morning and guests can come and go as they need depending on travel times.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We have specific dress codes for two events: the welcome dinner and the ceremony / reception. Details can be found in the "Schedule" tab. For the other events and the weekend as a whole, we encourage elevated beach attire and resortwear.

What activities are available at the resort complex?

Answer

Mayakoba is a complex reknown for its natural beauty, wellness services, soft sand beaches, and award-winning resorts (including ours, the Banyan Tree). The other three on the complex are Alila, Rosewood, and Fairmont. The hotel is providing discounts for spa experiences and golf - please reach out to us if you would be interested in either.

Given the intimacy of the event, plus ones are not available. Please reach out to us if you have any concerns.

Is Bard coming?

Answer

We have decided not to bring Bard given the expected chaotic nature of the festivities of the weekend. Rest assured he will be enjoying treats and naps at home with the dogsitter :)
