FAQs

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Cocktail attire! But we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose.

Question

Is the ceremony & reception at the same location?

Answer

Yep! The ceremony location is quarter mile hike uphill from the reception. Please wear shoes you'll be comfortable in and if you'd like to swap them out at the reception, we'd be happy to store your extra pair.

Question

Is the ceremony & reception outdoors?

Answer

Yes it is and it can get pretty chilly in the evenings. Please bring a jacket to keep warm!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If you'd like to bring a guest and your invitation doesn't say "& Guest", please reach out.

Question

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You'll be missed! If you can't make it, please let us know as soon as possible by RSVPing no.

Question

Where should guests park?

Answer

We recommend ubering as parking is limited. If you plan to drive please let us know.

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

We ask that guests stay off their phone during the ceremony. Feel free to take pictures during the reception!

Question

What is altitude sickness?

Answer

Altitude sickness is what you experience when you travel to a high elevation quickly. Breckenridge is ~9,500' higher than Texas so it is likely one of you may experience this. Common symptoms of altitude sickness are headache, fatigue & shortness of breath. Ways to prevent or reduce the symptoms of altitude sickness are, stay hydrated, go up in elevation slowly, use an oxygen canister and/or take a ibuprofen.

Question

Did you know your alcohol tolerance will be lower at higher elevations?

Answer

Yep - that's right! We have higher alcohol tolerances at sea level (Texas). Alcohol will have a stronger affect on you in the mountains, drink responsibly!
