On a summer night out with friends Ivan & Kendall ran into each-other at an all white party in Pennsauken, NJ. They walked past each other and Ivan asked if Kendall could take a picture of him and his friends. Kendall, being the feisty woman she is, replied, “ what do I look like? A photographer.” Nonetheless she waited for his friends to get bunched up but they were taking foreverrrr. So Kendall flipped the camera to selfie mode and started taking pictures of herself. Anyone that knows Kendall, understands how photogenic she is! So after all was said and done Ivan asked for Kendall’s phone number to send the pictures. He wrote her the very next morning and the love story began… Kendall had aspirations to join the military and left Ivan after the summer was spent, but when she returned from training both rekindled and have been together since…

Ivan and Kendall were preparing for their birthday get away to St. Lucia. It was the night before Ivan’s birthday so Kendall decided to have a couple friends and family over to wish Ivan a happy birthday. Well, Ivan, the sneaky little bear, had other plans in mind! As the party sang happy birthday to Ivan, he drops down on one knee with a diamond ring 💍 in hand and asks Kendall to be his wife…. Kendall was startled, and ran into the corner, she quickly removed her grandmother’s ring from her left hand ring finger, in preparation of accepting Ivan’s proposal. The two left for St. Lucia as a newly engaged couple ❤️
