Where should we stay?

Answer

Accommodation is booking up fast but we recommend staying near the venue in Paarl as travel options are limited. Franschhoek is the next best choice as we have organised drop off from the venue after the wedding. As for where to book, booking.com has many options. There is unfortunately no accommodation at the venue.

What do I wear?

Answer

Formal attire is requested. The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside with plenty of shade. The dinner and party will be indoors. Please take this into consideration when choosing your attire.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Guests are requested to arrive by 2:30 p.m and must be seated by 2:45 p.m.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, a wide selection of drinks will be available to cover everyone's favorites. We recommend trying our signature wine!

What Are The Meal Options?

Answer

Chicken Roulade: Semidried Tomato, Feta, Spinach Filling, Potato Dauphinoise, Baby Carrots, Stem Broccoli and Salsa Verdi with Smokey Tomato Jus. Braised Lamb Shoulder and Beef Rib: Baked in a Phyllo Crust, Pan Fried Stemmed Broccoli, Baby Carrots, Pumpkin Tart and Roasted Garlic Jus.

All guests will be required to leave the venue by 1 a.m.

How can I give a gift?

Answer

Your love, laughter, and company on our wedding day are the only gifts we could ever ask for. Should you wish to honour us with a gesture, we kindly request a contribution towards our future together. In light of our destination wedding in South Africa, we would prefer bank transfers to physical gifts. Please contact us directly, and we’ll provide details privately.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

We will be having an unplugged ceremony which means we would like you to enjoy the celebration of our marriage with us, rather than on a screen. We will however have a planned photo opportunity within the ceremony and there will be plenty of time for photos after.

What Are the Transport Arrangements?

Parking will be available at the venue for guests making their own way to and from the celebration. We want to ensure everyone has a fantastic time – We have secured a shuttle service for pick up and drop off from Franschhoek and Paarl to Ashanti and then your return from Ashanti to your car. – Look for signs on a mini-bus that say Jenna & Ivan - Ashanti Franschhoek– Please park at the Franschhoek Tram Station parking The Shuttle Bus will depart at 2:00pm for the drop off at Ashanti at 2:30pm Paarl – There is an Engine Garage/Filling station at Drakenstein which is opposite Boschenmeer Golf estate – Bus will be depart there at 2:15 - Uber is likely to be available in Paarl area. Drop off in the evening: Depart Ashanti at 10:00pm Depart Ashanti at 11:30pm Depart Ashanti at 1am More details will be communicated nearer the time.
