Welcome to our fairy-tale!

On July 22, 2014 who would have known a Instagram post would spark a lifetime of happiness. Ivan posted a picture that caught the attention of Dushawn and after exchanging a few comments Ivan slide into Dushawn's Dm ( LOL). Ivan invited Dushawn out for drinks, at Zombie Hut in Brooklyn, but he declined because he had sprain his ankle at work; Ivan offered to come over with a bottle, but Dushawn declined again. The next day Dushawn was willing to meet Ivan for drinks at Zombie Hut on July 23, 2014 Ivan and Dushawn met at Zombie Hut and Ivan was running late, so Dushawn thought Ivan was Catfish. After hours of great conversation, a few drinks and Dushawn beating Ivan in Connect Four, and a first date kiss; the night was coming to a end. Ivan hugged Dushawn goodbye but Dushawn was too tipsy to go home alone, so Ivan and Dushawn got in a cab together to Ivan’s house. After their first meeting them two were inseparable. Fast forward to Dushawn’s 29th birthday weekend, Ivan planned a spectacular weekend which included both family and friends; but little did he know Dushawn had the biggest surpise of them all, THE PROPSAL! Dushawn prepared a nice poem to recite to Ivan but in the midst of it all he forgot it. And just spoke from the heart. Ivan was a fist full of tears. Ivan then proceed to say how the ring was so big; but he never said YES (lol) so Dushawn had to ask him again, Will you marry me? And then he finally said YES! The entire restaurant stood up & applauded both Ivan & Dushawn on their engagement. The manager of the restaurant then gave the couple a complimentary bottle of champagne to celebrate being newly engaged.
