Maid of Honor
On the first day of high school english class, we had to choose what punctuation mark best represented us. When we both picked "!" I shouted across the room that we were DEFINITELY going to be best friends. I don't think she believed me back then, but she must know by now. It was written in the stars, and I can't wait to have such an incredible person stand beside me on my big day!
Best Man
Meeting as kids in 5th grade, Andres and I became friends over doing what kids do best (and still do now): playing video games and playing outside. Nothing changed over 14 years as we grew into men. What was once a friendship amongst our group has now become a brotherhood, and it’s beautiful to see how strong we’ve become together over time. Andres’ love for the arts has bled entirely into me; we can have endless conversations on music for days, even weeks, on end. Andres’ passion for what he loves, as well as his confidence to stand for his values and beliefs, is something I am inspired by every day. I love this guy wholeheartedly.
Bridesmaid
Sierra and I met on the last night of sorority recruitment, and I chose her as a partner for every single event we had after that. She is my little, my sister, and most of all an incredible friend. Always ready for a good time, I think we both knew that our friendship was something special, even on that very first night!
Groomsman
While knowing each other as early as middle school, Marius and I became friends in college when he was living with my other friends (and eventually lived with me). We bonded through our love for finding unreleased music and working out. First knowing him to be funny and easy going, I was blessed to discover that he had a heart the size of the moon. Marius is one of the most kindhearted and easy-to-love people I have ever met. It only took me 2 years to consider him one of my best and closest friends.
Bridesmaid
Brooke and I became accidental twins, and having a sister like her is something I could've only dreamed of. She is always there for the sunny days and the long nights, the fun parties and the rough days after. Brooke has been the definition of a tried and true friend, and someone who I can't live without. Can't wait to have Brooke by my side!
Groomsman
Meeting in middle school, Adrian was not welcomed in the best manner by our friend group as we poked fun at him for being the “new kid at school”. This soon changed as we all grew close together through video games and shenanigans out away from our parents. From jumping off roofs to eating food off the street, Adrian always found ways to have fun in the moment. This is a value that rings true with Adrian to this day. Adrian reminds me to enjoy the little things. He is a brother to me, and keeps my inner child alive.
Bridesmaid
Andrea and I actually sat right next to each other on the first day of sixth grade math class. After college, we were able to reconnect. Game of Thrones, Avatar and road trips just strengthened our bond and our friendship. A ray of sunshine on a cloudy day, I am so lucky to have someone like Andrea in my life and by my side!
Groomsman
Meeting in middle school, Bruno and I met through gym class playing soccer. Me and my friends would steal the ball when Bruno’s friends would play soccer, causing all sorts of tussles and arguments. We eventually got along and bonded over video games and sports, never looking back. Bruno’s humble aura is something to be respected and emulated by everyone. Bruno taught me to be true to myself. He also taught me to wear Jordan’s. We’ve been best friends for what feels like a lifetime, and there’s nothing but more FIFA/Jordan releases in the future to keep us together.
Bridesmaid
Silvana is a friend anyone would be lucky to have. Deeply caring, motivating and funny, she is is such an incredible person. Long nights singing our hearts out in the living room, grinding in the gym, or early morning make-up sessions (can't thank her enough for that), Silvana is always there. She is an incredible friend, and I'm lucky to have her.
Groomsman
Having cousins is essentially having brothers in my family. Alejandro and I spent our early years playing PlayStation and going to soccer fields to mess around. It felt good to have family to look up to, that’s not just some adult you have nothing in common with. While he was older, Alejandro and I shared a lot in common. Alejandro instilled a sense of individuality within me, to make sure I look out for myself in this big world. Growing up with Alejandro proved to me that I can have my cake and eat it too; that I can manifest my own success in life and take control of my future. I’m forever thankful for all the advice Alejandro has given me; he is my big brother and I know he is always available when I need guidance.
Bridesmaid
Nicolette and I became fast friends. A shared love of our sororities, wine nights and all things hosting created such a strong bond. There is NO one who knows how to make a charcuterie board like Nicolette. But more than that, Nicolette is a kind and caring friend who is there for you when you need her, and ready to lend a helping hand.
Groomsman
Seeing as how all of us cousins were basically brothers in our family, Danny is the best big brother anyone could ask for. Growing up with Danny meant that there were no cloudy days when we hung out together. Every day was a pool day, or the release of the latest video game. We had a good time no matter what. Danny, Alejandro, and myself could (and will) play video games all night long given the opportunity. I’m reminded by Danny that we need to appreciate the good times in life; we are only as happy as we allow ourselves to be.
Bridesmaid
Crystal and I met through work, but she is so much more than just a co-worker. We instantly bonded over our love of cats, and daily FaceTime chats brought us even closer. She is insanely talented, a great listener, and incredibly kind. I know I've found a life-long friend in Crystal, and I'm glad she will stand beside me even though she hates weddings.
Groomsman
While 5 years apart, Enrico and I grew up alongside each other as cousins who were really brothers attached at the hip. Where Enrico went, I followed. My adolescence began with Punk Rock and Pokémon, and I loved every minute of it. Enrico introduced me to video games. You could not find a pair more enveloped and passionate about the screens in front of them then us. We even went on an entire vacation to London England to only care about staying in the hotel to make sure I leveled up our Pokémon fast enough. Enrico is the reason I love music and video games. I have always been inspired by his creative drive and individuality. I literally would not be who I am today without him. Enrico is my brother and I love him to death.
