Anita’s Cocina is the go-to local favorite in Wickenburg. For Britney, it’s more than just a restaurant; it’s where she and her friends would gather after school, swapping stories over plates of enchiladas and baskets of chips (lots of chips). So many memories have been made here, making it a must-visit spot for anyone wanting a true taste of the town.
The Jail Tree is a 200-year-old mesquite in downtown Wickenburg, once used in the late 1800s to chain up outlaws before the town had a jail. Today, it’s a quirky historic landmark, complete with a mannequin “prisoner” and signs sharing its Old West story... a fun, photo-worthy stop for visitors.
The Mecca is Wickenburg’s go-to watering hole and a true local favorite. Sure, the town doesn’t have a ton of bars to choose from, but this one has all the charm you need, western-inspired décor, a laid-back atmosphere, and a prime downtown location. It’s the perfect spot to grab a drink, soak in the small-town vibes, and feel like a local, even if you’re just passing through.
Vulture Peak Brewery is Wickenburg’s hometown craft brewery, serving up a rotating selection of beers and hard seltzers in a relaxed, welcoming space. It’s the perfect spot to kick back after a day of exploring, whether you’re a local or just visiting. Be sure to try Brit and Ivan’s favorites, the bold and flavorful Brasa beer and one of their refreshing Desert Drencher Cherry Limeade seltzers. It’s a must-visit for anyone wanting a true taste of Wickenburg.
