Ann Arbor Summer Festival / Top of the Park
We are thrilled that the annual Ann Arbor Summer Festival (A2SF) / "Top of the Park" will overlap our wedding weekend! This is one of our favorite Ann Arbor events and has live music, art exhibits, outdoor movies, and other performances. Check out more details and full schedule of events at https://www.a2sf.org/. Of note, we will have a private space roped off in "The Grove" area the night before the wedding from 7-10pm for anyone who would like to join us for live music and drinks! There there will also be food available for purchase at food trucks for anyone who wishes to eat there.
Ann Arbor Farmers Market
One of our favorite things about Ann Arbor! It is located in the Kerrytown neighborhood and open on Saturdays from 7am-3pm. They have fresh produce, baked goods (we highly recommend the pastries from the White Lotus tent), and other artisan items. If you are already in Kerrytown, you should also check out Zingerman's Deli.
Main Street
Strolling down Main Street will definitely give you the classic "college town" feel that we love so much about Ann Arbor. There are tons of shops and restaurants to stop in. Some of our favorite restaurants on and around Main Street are Grizzly Peak, Frita Batidos, Mani Osteria & Bar, Stray Hen Cafe, and Jolly Pumpkin.
Matthaei Botanical Gardens
This is a beautiful 300 acre garden with many nature trails to explore.
Bill's Beer Garden
One of our favorite spots! Fun atmosphere and great beer.
Blank Slate Creamery
The best ice cream in town (if you ask Anna). If you ask Ivan, he would say go to Washtenaw Dairy instead. If you go with Ivan's rec, get the Irish Mint!
University of Michigan Museum of Natural History
Lots of diverse art and science exhibits, and even a planetarium!
Michigan Stadium
You can't come to Ann Arbor without checking out the Big House. GO BLUE!
