Nick and Ivana first met back in 2019 at Blackhawk College. They were both in the same class for spring semester. Nick was required to take this class, coincidentally Ivana decided to take this class just for fun! Both Nick and Ivana noticed each other right away but neither one of them made a move. After some time passed Nick finally found the courage to reach out to Ivana. June 2021, a first date was set and soon thereafter the rest was history.

It was the night of December 23, 2022 Ivana had absolutely no idea Nick was going to propose to her. When Ivana opened the door to the house her and Nick will live in after their wedding, standing in the sunroom full of twinkling lights, lit candles, and rose petals was Nick waiting to propose to Ivana. Of course she said Yes!
