Explore Zona Romantica! The cutest little busy town with so many amazing restaurants, shops, views, art, etc. definitely worth a stroll. Recommendations - grab a drink and a bite at our favorite restaurant downtown, La Palapa!
Malecon Boardwalk Vallarta
Take a stroll down the Malecon Boardwalk downtown by the water. There are tons of shops and vendors to grab a fun souvenir from, and plenty of restaurants to pop into for drinks and apps. Our favorite spot here is a mojito bar called La Bodeguita del Medio. Best mojito you'll probably ever have
Puerto Vallarta Adventures
If you're staying in town an extra day, check out Puerto Vallarta Adventures they have the coolest excursions like dolphin swimming, zip lining, and specifically their UTV Tour that we did on our trip to PV and it was our favorite day! You get to ride a Polaris RZR UTV for an exciting off-road expedition that will take you through dirt trails and breathtaking tropical forests. About halfway through the tour, you get to stop for a mountain hike to visit a gorgeous waterfall where you will get to relax and take a refreshing swim
Oscar's Tequila Tasting
BOTTOMS UP!! Come by Oscar's restaurant where they have a distillery in house. Try out their tequila tasting which is so fun and has tons of variety. This was one of our favorite parts of our recent trip to Puerto Vallarta and it's right by the boardwalk downtown. If you go make sure to ask for Saul - he'll hook it up!
Mirador De La Cruz
The Mirador de la Cruz del Cerro is for the active peeps that want to get a good workout in and enjoy a view. It's an uphill walk that once you get to the top you can enjoy a panoramic view of the city, ocean water, and the beautiful mountain landscape
