Their story began unexpectedly on March 4th, 2023, during a night out in a local bar in San Clemente, California. Neither of them was expecting to meet someone special that night, but life had other plans. Just two days later, Alex left to attend a school, and they didn’t see each other again for a couple of months. Despite the distance, they kept in touch, and when Alex returned, they went on their first official date. Alex, being a car enthusiast, wanted to share something he loved with Itziar, so he took her to one of his favorite spots: an acai bowl café for breakfast followed by a car show. They had so much fun together, and it didn’t take long for them to fall in love. On June 3rd, 2023, Alex asked Itziar to be his girlfriend, and from that moment, they became best friends. As time went on, they spent more and more time together, and Itziar met Alex’s family in July 2023. They both love the beach, sports games, concerts, and hanging out with friends. They would spend most of their weekends during the summer in Laguna Beach, their favorite beach. On July 14th, 2024, Alex proposed to Itziar in a place that had become special to both of them—the beach. Just 10 days later, on July 24th, 2024, they were legally married at the Old Orange County Courthouse. Today, they live in Oceanside, CA, with their two cats, Ollie and Otis, and continue to build their life together.
