From the moment that Madi laid her eyes on Jake Taddeo during freshman year, she knew she was going to marry him. Jake was a year older and didn't even know her name, but that wouldn't stop her. After years of going out of her way to get his attention, she finally got the first date. Jake had just graduated high school when he finally popped the question, "will you be my girlfriend?" Years later they welcomed a baby girl into the world together, whom they loved just as much as they loved each other. They took the time to make sure they wanted to spend their lives together but they always knew they never wanted to be apart. Freshman Madi would be so proud to know that she finally gets to marry the man of her dreams on October 2, 2021.

Mayzie is the eldest sister of the Cartwright kiddos. She has absolutely deserved the title "eldest" because she is so much more than just a big sister. Mayz has been there for Madi through all the ups and downs, shared her heartbreaks, and celebrated her accomplishments. Even though they live so many hours apart, they share a bond that will never break, no matter the distance.

Lulu is the baby of the Cartwright family. If anything, she is who truly taught Madi how to be a mom. The night that Madi found out her little sister was being born, she jumped out of bed immediately, so excited to meet her baby sister. Lulu, being the perfect example of a Gen Z, is sometimes hard to please, but that just means her approval means so much more.

Madi and Lexi became best friends very early in life, in the fourth grade. The bond between them was almost instantaneous and Lexi became more of a sister to Madi, with her house being Madi's second home. They would spend weeks on end together, never growing tired of the other's company. As the many years would pass, they could go months without speaking, although when they were reunited, it would be as if no time had really passed.

Lauren is one of Madi's longest and dearest friends. They met in the third grade and spent their days in reading class playing Mighty Girl on the computer instead of doing whatever they should have been doing. They have always remained very close and always enjoy each other's company. Lauren's compassion and caring nature has helped Madi through every up and down in life. I'm sure life will bring them further apart in miles, but they will always be together at heart.

Madelyn and Madi met early in high school and quickly became best friends. They were Mads^2 and impossible to separate, constantly laughing, and probably getting into trouble together. As the years passed, they began to drift apart. Fast forward a couple of years and they have only just picked up where they left off as no time has passed.

Haley and Madi first met at a Rodney Atkins concert when a friend of Madi's brought Haley as his new girlfriend. Madi was unsure of the "new girl" at first, but that night they formed a friendship that would last. (Haley is now engaged to the same guy that brought her to that concert on a whim!) Haley can be a hard person to get along with at first but in the end, Madi really appreciates her for her honesty and knows Haley would always go the distance for her friends.

Mary and Madi, both being very strong-minded, could have been considered enemies at first, but after getting to know each other, that common trait could have been exactly what made them get along so well in the end. Mary always brings the fun side out of Madi and they never fail to have a good time together. These two will always have each other's back and support each other to no end.

Junior is one of the most important men in Madi's life. They are 3 years apart and grew up fighting, arguing, getting each other in trouble.. but also playing dress-up and making up new games together. Their relationship aged very well because they are now closer than ever and the best of friends. Madi Couldn't imagine a better person to help give her away on her big day.
