Ryan and Christina's story began on a date at Outback Steakhouse in November 2019—right in the thick of hunting season. How Christina managed to get him away from the woods is anyone’s guess, but they’ve been inseparable ever since. Each year since, from September to December, she fully embraces the role of a "hunter's widow." Ryan and Christina share plenty of hobbies, and what really brings them together are their shared values—hard work, integrity, family, and community. Christina is living her dream as a Federal ServiceNow Client Executive, and Ryan recently celebrated 13 years at Dominion Energy, capped off with a promotion to Superintendent of the Shenandoah Valley Region. They recently closed on their first (official) home together and relocated to Waynesboro, VA, at the end of September 2024. From the get-go, they discovered a mutual love for the outdoors and traveling. In just 4 years, they’ve checked off visits to 13 states, falling especially in love with the West—Wyoming, Arizona, and of course, Colorado, where Ryan asked Christina to marry him. Ryan is THE quintessential hunter and loves spending hours shooting or working on his bow, staying active, and helping Chris bring her DIY visions to life. Christina thrives in her garden, kitchen, and through her love for photography, graphic design, and music. Their life together wouldn't be complete without HunnyBear and Tatertot, their two beloved rescue dogs. These two have been by their mom and dad's side through everything, and they'll be right there on the big day, soaking in every moment. As they unpack their bags and plan their wedding, they’re beyond excited about what the future holds and can’t wait to celebrate all these milestones with y'all.
