Question

What is included in this package?

Answer

Question

When is the RSVP date?

Answer

The resort has limited availability (due to social distancing and other factors); therefore, we are asking for family and close friends to RSVP by making a $100 per person deposit by ASAP or by June 30, 2022 to be added to our reserved room block and group activities.

Question

Can I bring a guest or guests with me?

Answer

Since we are limited on the amount of guests who can attend our very intimate wedding, the event itself is invitation-only. Please contact Anna or Cody if you would like to bring an additional guest or have any special requests. All invited guests are more than welcome to bring additional travel companions and friends to enjoy the vacation with us. Just Book It Travel can arrange travel for these additional friends and family members coming to vacation, but not attending the event.

What are the suggested travel dates?

Answer

We want nothing more than for our friends and family to enjoy their VACATION 🙂 . Please feel free to arrive as early in advance as you’d like and stay at the resort for as long as you’d like. Enjoy yourself, and VACATION 🙂 To maximize your vacation time, enjoy excursions, enjoy the wedding, and have time for yourself, we recommend the following minimum date range: 2/24 - 2/28. Additionally, the resort has a 3 night minimum stay requirement.)

What is the payment schedule?

Answer

Deposit Due – non-refundable deposit, $100 per person – Due by June 30, 2022 Final Balance Due – Anytime before November 15, 2022 *Travel protection is recommended. All payments are non-refundable after November 15, 2022 *Partial payments are recommended – some guests prefer to pay for their trip in monthly installments, while others ensure that they’re paid in full anytime prior to the final balance due date. If you would like to make a partial payment, please send an email to info@justbookittravel.com and request a payment link. Any refunds made prior to the final balance due date will incur a 5% merchant processing service fee.

Do I have the option to purchase travel protection?

Answer

Absolutely! We strongly recommend travel protection. Just like other investments (house, car, health, jewelry), the travel protection plan helps to protect your travel investment from any unforeseen circumstances that may arise before or during your trip. There are two options for Travel Protection Insurance: Option 1: Cancel for Any Reason Insurance - $90 per person for hotel costs of $2,000 or less. Option 2: Supplemental Insurance Policy - $55 per person for hotel costs of $2,000 or less. The Cancel for Any Reason Insurance policy must be purchased within 7 days of the original reservation. The Supplemental Insurance Policy must be purchased anytime PRIOR to the final balance due date.

What is the cancellation policy?

Answer

The $100 per person deposit is non-refundable. We strongly recommend that each guest purchase Trip Protection from any trusted supplier. Final balances are due November 15, 2022. All rooms are under 100% cancellation following November 15, 2022 and any applicable refunds must be requested from the travel protection supplier. ​Example 1: Guest pays balance in full prior to November 15, 2022 and cancels prior to November 15, 2022. The $100 per person deposit is non-refundable. All other partial payments will be refunded less a 5% merchant processing fee. ​Example 2. Guest pays balance in full prior to November 15, 2022 and cancels following November 15, 2022. All payments are non-refundable following November 15, 2022. (Please file a claim directly with the Trip Protection provider for any non-refundable fees)

What does “All-Inclusive mean”?

Answer

All-Inclusive resorts offer: All you can eat (gourmet restaurants and buffets), All you can drink top shelf (alcohol, mixed drinks, daiquiris, and non-alcoholic beverages), Entertainment (the resort will have daily and nightly activities including shows and a sports bar / lounge), non-motorized water sports, Room Service includes 24-hour room service of food.

Can I upgrade my room?

Answer

Absolutely! As long as the resort has availability for your travel dates. See the Travel/RSVP page for rooms that we have pre-selected in our room block. If you wish to book a different room category, please indicate your desired room on your reservation form. Just Book It Travel will contact you with pricing, availability and next steps. Go for it – book the penthouse!

Question

What if my potential travel companion (roomie) is TBD, unknown at this time, or not ready to book?

Answer

Time waits for no one 🙂 Book without them and add them to your reservation at a later time. Since prices and availability are subject to change, be sure to reserve the room for just yourself and we can add them when they are ready. Solo occupancy hotel rates are sometimes higher than double occupancy. When we add your travel companion in the future, you’ll recognize the double occupancy savings. Rates are refreshed at the time future changes are made.

How do I purchase travel protection?

Answer

We recommend booking travel protection along with your itinerary. The in-house travel protection plan must be purchased within 7 days of booking your room. If you are looking for independent, outside coverage that is purchased separately, please do your research and book with any trusted travel protection provider as soon as possible. Cancellation fees are non-refundable, except through qualified travel protection reimbursements.

What is the best way to find good flight deals?

Answer

We suggest setting up flight alerts. Our favorite is Google flights because it includes a wider range of airlines. When searching for flights, the airport you are flying to is Cancun International Airport (CUN).

How do I get from the airport to the resort?

Answer

We highly recommend securing your transportation in advance along with your room reservation. You can get taxis or shuttle transportation at the airport/resort but they are usually more expensive when buying directly on the same day. Pricing for your group for Round Trip Transportation from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to the airport are: $50 per person (min 2 people) – direct non-stop service, only guests from the wedding group will be transported in the same vehicle.

Do I need to have my passport prior to making my deposit for the trip?

Answer

Passports are required at the time of travel. As long as you provide Just Book It Travel with your full legal name, you can arrange travel in advance. Instructions to apply for passports can be found here: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/need-passport/apply-in-person.html Expedited Passports now can take up to 12 weeks – we do recommend getting your passport as soon as possible. Please allow 12-16 weeks for standard passport applications to process following your scheduled appointment with a passport “Acceptance facility“. Are there any travel restrictions for departure and/or return?

Can I take a COVID-19 test at the resort?

Answer

Yes, the resort provides on-site COVID-19 testing. You can schedule your test upon arrival. Be sure to schedule your test in accordance with US entry requirements as shown on the link above. Since the requirements and fees for COVID19 testing changes constantly, the group will be provided with the latest details 7-10 days prior to travel.

Will I need cash? What else should I pack? If this is my first international trip, or first trip in a long time, how can I best prepare?
