Snowmass Village is quite small and walkable! The RFTA is a great free bus system that will bring you throughout Snowmass as well as into Aspen. Aspen is about a 25 minute drive from Snowmass. The Aspen Airport is a 15 minute drive from Snowmass. Most of the hotels will shuttle you to and from the airport. Denver Airport is about 3.5 hours from Snowmass. From Denver you can take Independence Pass which is a beautiful, scenic mountain road that will bring you to Aspen (we definitely recommend this for the adventurous but be aware there are a few areas with steep drops) or i70 which is a more direct highway. Taking Independence Pass will cost you about 15 minutes extra drive time but is worth it.
