We first met on the night of March 1, 2019, at Rooster’s in Oxford, MS, through mutual friends. We hung out and shared great conversation that night, but we didn’t think much would come of it. A couple of days later, Mason added me on Snapchat, and soon we couldn’t stop talking. Our first meetup was at Cookout, where we stayed for four hours, just talking—it felt so natural, like we’d known each other forever. From that point on, we knew we were meant to be. Over the years, we’ve shared countless memories and grown closer with every step. A week before our 5-year anniversary, during a spring break trip to Disney World, Mason proposed in front of the castle—it was truly magical!
